Dametraus Jaggers is the husband to Kristen and the father of two boys, Davin (12) and Dallas (10). In the summer of 2008, Dametraus accepted his call into gospel ministry. Since then, he has served in youth, college, community outreach and men’s ministry roles since 2009.
Dametraus has been involved in several church plants in Pennsylvania and Tennessee, including serving as a pastoral resident at Hope Fellowship Church (Knoxville, TN). While in Knoxville, he was the founding director of the Future of Hope Institute, a high school youth theology institute that brings high school students together to think theologically about the challenges of living and leading in a contemporary urban context.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dametraus received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Kent State University and his doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
